We are so proud to have recently celebrated the 7-year anniversary of our partnership with Rain or Shine.We recognize commitment to sustainability by only using compostable service items as well and sourcing ingredients locally, as well as the positive impact their volunteering and campaigning efforts have on the local community.

Growing City provides composting services to two Rain or Shine locations, starting with the original Kitsilano location then also Cambie once it opened in 2015. Their main goal was to make a delicious ice cream with natural socially conscious ingredients that everyone could enjoy, having a positive role within the local community.

n keeping with the theme of local, Growing City as a Vancouver-based waste and recycling provider was a great fit. We track bin weights to calculate waste diversion as well as help optimize services for when business picks up in the summer months, whilst also ensuring thec ompost bins are clean and serviced on time.
